Yippie Ki Yay, it's a Christmas miracle! Coming back this holiday season, from the comedy writers that have had Seattle in stitches for decades, comes A Very Die Hard Christmas, a musical parody that is sure to blow the roof off the joint. Sketch writers from The Habit team up with Seattle Public Theater to create this holiday comedy perfect for those who like their Christmas entertainment with lots of action, 80s jokes, smooth soft rock jams, and snarky German terrorists.
(Theo/Argyle) is back. If you came, you saw them here in this very show last year. It’s possible you may have also seen them on the Langston Hughes Center’s stage or Seattle Public Theater’s stage in Riverwood.
(John McClane) Jason is thrilled to be back at his barefootholiday mission! Other favorite roles include Benedick in Much Ado (Island Stage Left) and Oliver in Pitmen Painters (ACT). He spends his downtime with his extraordinary wife Jill and their wily cats, Indy and Mo.
(Hans Gruber) In addition to originating the role of Hans Gruber, Rebecca has appeared at Seattle Public Theater in Caught, Tally’s Folly, Gideon’s Knot, and Stop Kiss. Other local credits include Seattle Rep, Seattle Shakespeare, Wooden O, and Book-It Reper-tory, among others.
(FX, aka The Fixer) Over the past year Ryn (they/them) has enjoyed playing a diverse clump of characters - an inspirational drunk fairy (“Bohemia”), a reporter with a puppet problem (“Seattle Vice ‘76”), a dancing dinosaur (‘Jurassic Parking Lot”), a steam plant ghost (“Circus of Steam and Shadows”), and now many inanimate objects and effects.
